Our products
Nordic Fibreboard’s ceiling panels are pre-finished wood-fibreboard panels for quick, clean renovation in suitable dry interior spaces. Confirm the existing ceiling, fixing method, room conditions and current technical guidance before installation.
Category description
Ceiling panels that reduce the finishing sequence
Ceiling renovation can be disruptive because work takes place overhead and often includes repair, levelling, plastering, sanding and painting. Pre-finished ceiling panels combine a board substrate and decorative surface, providing a more direct route to a completed ceiling where the existing structure is dry, stable and suitable for the approved fixing method.
ISOTEX Ceiling is designed for suitable dry interior spaces. The lightweight wood-fibreboard core makes panels easier to handle than many dense sheet materials, while the factory finish reduces additional wet work. The result can be particularly useful in occupied-home renovation and other projects where programme and cleanliness are important.
Acoustic comfort, accurately described
ISOTEX Ceiling can absorb sound energy and soften reflections, contributing to a calmer room acoustic. It should not be described as soundproof unless a tested complete floor-ceiling assembly supports that claim. Where a project has defined reverberation-time or sound-insulation targets, the complete room or construction should be assessed by an acoustic specialist.
Assess the ceiling before covering it
Repair leaks, condensation, mould, loose plaster or structural movement before installation and allow the construction to dry. Confirm that the supporting base is suitable for the approved fixing method and locate wiring, pipes, joists and other services before fastening.
Plan around lights, detectors, ventilation grilles, access hatches, curtain tracks and wall junctions. Follow current installation instructions for panel direction, setting out, acclimatisation, cutting, fixings, joints and edges. Heavy fittings require independent support.
Choose the finish using a physical sample
Select the finish under the lighting conditions expected in the room. Confirm current availability, batch planning, cleaning and any permitted repainting method before approval. For public, commercial and multi-residential projects, check reaction-to-fire, indoor-emissions and maintenance documentation for the exact panel and application.
